What is Raw Food

A Raw food diet is based on eating whole, live, uncooked and un-processed foods as a large percentage of your diet. When 75-100% of your total food consumption is raw food, you are a raw foodist. Raw food is uncooked – never heated above 42 C/118 F degrees. It is preferably unprocessed (as fresh or wild as possible) and organic (no irradiation, preservatives, pesticides or Genetically Modifieds). My husband grows a large range of our vegetables and we have a number of fruit trees.

Most of the food I eat now consists of organic vegetables, fruits, dried fruits, nuts, seeds, gluten free grains, good fats, superfoods, fermented foods and drink, sea vegetables and sprouted grains and seeds.

Why eat RAW Food

When your diet is made up of at least 75% raw foods, there are benefits and here are some of what you can experience for yourself:

•More energy

•More restful sleep, and you need less sleep

•Easy, natural weight loss

•Clear, more beautiful skin

•Improved memory, clear mind

•Stronger immune system

•Prevent or even reverse some dis-eases

The benefit of this lifestyle is that your body stays within an alkaline state and in that state the body is able to fight disease and even repair itself. Cancer cells do not like an environment of alkalinity.

Please take 5 minutes or more each day in quiet time either  indoors or out to allow your body mind and spirit to absorb these very beautiful vibrations .
